Cancelation Policy
To ensure optimal service and availability for all clients, I kindly request that you provide a minimum of 48 hours notice for any appointment cancellations and reschedules. If a cancellation/reschedule is made with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be charged. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing us to efficiently manage our schedule and accommodate every client.

No-Show Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. However, not showing up for a scheduled appointment impacts our team and other clients. Therefore, if there is no prior notice given and you do not show up for your appointment, you will be considered a no-show. We will charge the full amount of the scheduled services to your account 20 minutes past your scheduled start time. We recommend that you contact us in advance if your plans change so we can reschedule accordingly and avoid unnecessary charges.

Appointment Preparation Policy
To provide the most accurate and customized curly haircut, all curly cutting services are performed on dry hair. Proper preparation is essential to achieving the best result. Please arrive to your appointment with: freshly washed hair, fully dry hair, curls styled how you normally wear them natural, hair free from ponytail and clip marks.
If you arrive with hair that does not meet these preparation guidelines (for example, hair that is worn up, unwashed, straightened), your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a fee may apply.

Sick Policy
If you are feeling unwell, experiencing any symptoms of illness (including but not limited to coughing, sore throat, congestion, body aches, chills, or fatigue), or have had a fever in the past 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication, you must reschedule your appointment.
We kindly ask that you communicate and reschedule your appointment for a time after you are symptom free. If I get sick, I have to cancel several clients until I am free of symptoms. I understand that illness comes on suddenly, so communicate as early as you can. 24 hour notice for a sick cancelation is preferred. If less than 24 hour notice is given, a rescheduling fee may apply.
If you arrive visibly ill or disclose ongoing symptoms at your appointment, your service will be rescheduled, and a rescheduling fee will apply.

Dry Cut Refresh Services
New Guest Dry Cut Only and Returning Guest Dry Cut Refresh services do not include blow-drying/diffusing. These services are not full service appointments and are intended to be maintenance haircuts up to 4 months after your previous curly cut at Mountain Curls. Because these services do not include a complete style and diffuse, there is no opportunity to assess the final curl pattern and make final adjustments to the haircut. For this reason, results may not be as precise as with the New Guest Curly Experience and Returning Guest Curly Haircut.

Curly Cut Adjustment
We want all clients to leave our salon feeling confident and happy with their hair. If you feel your haircut needs a small adjustment, please contact us within one week of your original appointment.
Hair naturally continues to grow and experience normal wear over time, so we are unable to accommodate adjustment requests after one week. Any service requested after this timeframe will be treated as a new appointment.
